The Womanity of Chocolate

Some discourse reverently on women involved in chocolate (naturally, just about none of these cocoa klatches include any female chocolate makers, just female chocolate talkers) as if it rises to the level of political / social / civil rights; as if gender crafts better chocolate (well, maybe different)…. Let’s just get over it, everyone: yes, women are humans too. As with 'Black Lives Matter' -- equality & justice… for all will do just fine.

That aside, a lipstick lesbian friend from NYC visits, of all places, Wyoming, & saunters into a, who would’ve thought out in the macho-middle west, an all-female bar. She snaps & wags that the place is so hot it’s “making my tongue hard”. That’s some mighty cunning-linguistics.

With advance apologies, if any are needed, to Nicole Trutanich, the barsmith behind Bar au Chocolat (B-au-C) even farther out west in Manhattan Beach, CA, these bars might elicit the same rousing response -- from guys as well as "non-males" in this gender-fluid era.

INGREDIENTS: cocoa mass, sugar

Milk

Damn unique.
Deft inclusion of cocoa butter (most B-au-C bars exclude it) to balance the nonfat milk & boost the overall heft both in taste & texture as decidedly chocolate (60% cacao-content at that) with the dairy showing more as a condiment to it.
This woman has some touch.
