Model fine; plastic-bosom texture, though reserved & dispassionate. No jump 'n shout or euphoria here... suffers from too little uplift, ever bordering a glum disposition, as if the fear of obesity sets in & the young must worry about laser liposuction early on (as well as mood / performance enhancement drugs too).

Pretty Germanic in the way a greatly engineered Mercedes can be boring. A good choice for jaded 1st dates with the dark side.
Appearance   4.2 / 5
Color: scarlet brown
Surface: dust & cocoa chips
Temper: matte
Snap: good pop; fine granite edge
Aroma   7.2 / 10
earth-clad grains & grounds: coffee, kasha, fermented corn, cocoanut, & spices pierced by lite streaks of red & white fruit (incl honeydew melon); overall bold
Mouthfeel   12.6 / 15
Texture: firm butter latex
Melt: voluptuous; viscous crawl
Flavor   42.1 / 50
abides mild chocolate -> macadamia under-riding black currant -> soft bitter, tempered in butter -> grows sweeter & redder (strawberry butter) -> gentle chocolate bang ricochets off bitter black spice bank (poppy & pepper), sparking a backcross to those earlier fruits -> roasted cocoa comes up top as reds sink to the bottom w/o ever entirely quitting -> light tannic tingles at the back
Quality   16.8 / 20
Subdued poise. Butter the main theme: CBS ~1:2:1 (basically the same ratio as its 85% showcase piece but just doubling down on the sugar here). Dangerously close to Hachez territory, especially in texture, without outright strangulating the profile, so more of the naked chocolate force comes thru even as it feels a little hollow in the flavor's structure.

A safe & solid conventional dark.
