alights lemon extract -> chocolate struggles for flavor... finds some in a coffee analogue that pulls the profile down -> off-putting clash between dirty bitter tannins & citrus -> butter attempts a rescue - but too little buoyancy & too late -> companions continue fighting to the acid-metal end

Incompatible; overly concentrated if clean essential oil grates against carelessly roasted cocoa (possibly Dutched but so much masking going on by the citrus makes it difficult to ascertain).
