The chocolate underground is a guerilla network of loosely affiliated commandos, busy at work in their individuated cells, blending into the civilian population, virtually without detection. Their leader may or may not be Ortrud Münch but she’s the Che Guevara of the movement: no retail store, no website, no distribution; no regular production runs – just random sitings & special private-invite audiences. For obvious reasons, her address remains unpublished but walk way east along 58th Street & you might be able to inhale some of the vapors streaming out her window.
