kids lunch-box MRE (Meal-Ready-to-Eat - some protein, little bit of fruit & vegetables, candy for dessert...): cream -> vanilla creamed-chocolate -> wood counter w/ butterscotch toffee cut by small mint sprig further enlivened by that Maracaibo honeydew melon from big-brother Clasificado; funk de cheese funk on the rubdown
Mouthfeel   14.2 / 15
Texture: rondo smooth cream-weight
Melt: hang glider
Flavor   40.4 / 50
picks out the good stuff from that MRE in the scent: naked chocolate -> clean cream -> some vanilla bourbon on the ends of the outside of the palate goes the distance to the center -> soy (lecithin) -> honey's in there somewhere / everywhere -> roasted butterscotch hit -> rolls caramelt over chocolate honey undertones -> dissolves honeydew drop chocolate; chicory deep in the shaft
Quality   17.1 / 20
A 1/2 pregnant - 50/50 proposition. Felchlin loves its milk, as it should. Swiss mountain cows on display. The pasture & air there producing hyper smooth / clean cream. Burly roast manages to punch thru... still, a little too creamed-out, G-forcing many of the flavor flags to lower altitude, right below the edge of radar (on top of an SdL batch already robbed of its raspberry patch, raising the question whether this is a wise use of this particular Criollo-leaning strain in the 1st place). Synergy & balance never fully meet up where the golden-milky-mean fills the vacuum.
