Elizabeth Loftus’ Everything’s a Penis – could be a standup routine on how therapists of the ostensibly ‘Recovered Memories’ movement instill in their patients that everything relates to phallic associations. Perhaps understandable with whole snakes or even just a serpent head, but cinnabons at the airport? (Hint: the white glaze on the cinnamon roll?... semen.)

“What’s going on in the minds of the therapists?” Loftus asks.

Naturally she was ostracized by some, accused of molesting her own children by others -- though she has none!

In chocolate, the equivalent would be that those childhood memories of receiving candy – even from a trusted adult & not a complete stranger – were actually all incestuous come-ons & abuse.

Such “victims”, unable to either free themselves or repress the memory, embrace therefore the candy bar well into adulthood. Candy giants maintain a chokehold on them by continuing to pedal Snickers™, Mounds™, Butterfingers™ et al. Ooo, too creepy & weird. show more »
Appearance   4.4 / 5
Color: pink tan
Surface: broad brushed
Temper: piano polish
Snap: solid
Aroma   7.2 / 10
lots o’ tang, more than even buttermilk... practically a goat’s milk with its cheese funk stuck in this cacáo’s tree trunk -> comes creosote & grows heavy on sorghum & rubber
Mouthfeel   12.1 / 15
Texture: powderful but good surface slide on the particles
Melt: toward the quick side
Flavor   45.4 / 50
flashes in white champagne chocolate -> develops caramel backed in rare yam (so fine) -> malts away to an Indian candy corn -> pure cane sugar flicks & dances about butterscotch mulberry -> no end in sight... to the fade
Quality   16.9 / 20
Though 45% cacáo-content, Jamaican cacáo renders delicate flavor & this acts more in line with a Milk Chocolate of classic child’s play than a Dark-Milk. A terrifically fun bar that really hits the C-spot.

Plenty of butter rich dairy suffused with cocoa rolls out all those natural caramel turns without the aid of any vanilla. They also savor this bar, bending it on an Earthen downward arc that nicely tempers the large sugar plane.

Sure-handed all the way around: from the intent & the proportions right thru to much of the execution (dismissing Texture which feels sub-conched; hence, the powder & the rather fast pace).

Based in Oakland, sourced from Jamaica... a home-ground chocolate.

ING: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder
