2 ladies wearing “diapers” loaded with 7 kilos each of cocaine were recently busted at JFK Airport coming off an inbound flight from The Dominican Republic. That definitely exceeds Mayor Bloomberg's 32 oz Coke® limit.

As one eyewitness observed -- the crack fell out of her crack.

Had they cut it with this innocuous chocolate from there & just declared it cocoaine, perhaps they might've slipped thru.

Eric Reid & associates at SPAGnVOLA, with an assist from Mars' technical development, run this split-location chocolate, a cross between a horizontal & a vertical-integrated enterprise. They cultivate & harvest the produce on the family plot in the Dominican Republic, then transport dried cocoa nuts to Maryland for processing into bars. Call it 'diagonal integration'... very much in the mode of Cacao Prieto which also tends its own grove in the D.R. before shipping raw materials to its Red Hook, Brooklyn manufactory plant. Bi-nationality obviously has its privileges.

This the flagship bar for the label. Neither outstanding nor objectionable. Quite accessible for the percentage with stalwart CQ (Chocolate Quotient or Naked baseline cocoa flavor free of over & undertones). It should warm the tummies of all those on the prowl to feed their yummies.

Vanilla &, moreover, copious cocoa butter almost alkalizes, or neuters in the least, what, at 80%, should be a manifold chocolate from one of the most pluripotent origins today.

SPAGnVOLA -- prone to please; a big dog on a short leash.

INGREDIENTS: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla; CBS (Cocoa mass / Butter / Sugar ratio): 5:8:7
