Chocolate passes from the hands thru lips which are 100 times more sensitive than the tips of the fingers, to the tongue, down the throat & … well, the rest is understood.

A bar from Belize that multiplies the sensuality of it all via a breathtaking flavor array.
Appearance   3.8 / 5
Color: opaque magenta
Surface: unkept (voids / bubbles)
Temper: semi-gloss
Snap: demur
Aroma   8.1 / 10
yes, that archetypal Belizean raisin but also some ground clutter, mold / yeast, rotten mango & the like
cleans up its act & oxidizes the better aspects of fruits (with a light citric lift) & a palm
Mouthfeel   12.8 / 15
Texture: firm
Melt: extendo
Flavor   44.3 / 50
alternating currents thru grape-lime to chocolate / natural rubber reverts to brownie / pineapple back to cocoa -> tobacco signals the beginning of the end... goes down a Cabernet on a slightly mossy field + some rear mold, as well as mahogany
Quality   17 / 20
An all-in-country play from a pair of ex-pat Brits living in Belize who shop for tropical groceries by hopping from their Ambergris Caye island hideaway to Punta Gorda on the mainland where they buy raw cocoa in the local markets there.

Evidently they're picky shoppers.

Other than possible evaporation issues (trace mold), an honest (just cacáo mass + cane sugar) & friendly chocolate (all those sweet fruits flapping back & froths with cocoa derivatives).

This Belize Chocolate Company bar will relieve consumers back in their native England from having to settle for lamentable Green & Black's when it comes to single-origin chocolate from Belize.

INGREDIENTS: cocoa mass, sugar
