Mānoa in Hawaiian means 'solid / vast / in-depth'.

A laudable goal worth striving for.

CAVEAT: The following review pertains to a fledgling barsmith. In keeping with the C-spot's®2 Kewl 4 Skool policy, any rating therefore would be premature.
Appearance   -- / 5
Color: beautiful vermillion cream
Surface: marred & scarred; floppy feet on the mold
Temper: messy
Snap: cowed into submission
Aroma   -- / 10
meta-breakfast bar: cereal grains straight from the malt house -> chocolate milk -> tang (fermented fruit) 'n coffee
Mouthfeel   -- / 15
Texture: powderful
Melt: slow
Flavor   -- / 50
fruited cocoa (red dragon fruit to be specific) -> grousing milk powder sweeps it away -> bottoms out dirty caramel -> fruit punches back, counterpoised against that caramel which is now a soiled bitter -> molasses in the rear recesses -> licorice / coffee down the shaft
Quality   -- / 20
Compromised seed lot shown in Mānoa's plain 72% dark negatively affects the progression & outcome in this bar.

Milk, which should mellow & ameliorate the woes, only serves to compound them.

While the whole assembly has strong staying power, it tastes of a prototype still on the drawing board in beta mode.
