K, got it... 'rad'-spelted 'chilli'.

Anthony "Uncool" Kiedis of ole skool RHCP chili fame (with but 1 'L') sings in Give It Away: you've got to give it to your mamma... errrr, in this era of mommy-wants-to-be-FB-liked-by-her-rebellious-teenage-child-desperately-scheming-to-fly-free-of-the-nest-no-matter-what (b/c typically that's a teen's first job even in this Era of Smart Govt when unemployable grad students return home to live with the 'rents so they don't have to pay any; just one interpretation of 'family values')... errrr, "FB BF".

Tripp-hopping wordsmith that she wishes to be, it might better read super 'chillime' -- for nothing goes up in smoke in the tight-knit household that eases the inevitable tensions by relaxin' with this bar-cum-ashtray.

Appearance   2.1 / 5
Color: rather sickly golden-lemon, almost jaundiced...
Surface: ... with cigarette burns + flakes of chili
Temper: sullen
Snap: a bright spot in an invariably despondent look
Aroma   6.4 / 10
bucket of paint: solvent (water-based latex), binders (resins, polymers, casein) & fillers (clay & lime-fresh scent)
everything but the pigment
Mouthfeel   10.8 / 15
Texture: grit
Melt: fast
Flavor   36.6 / 50
that caulking Aroma turns over, thanks to lime, only to return to spackling paste before the chili pepps threaten to obliterate all flavor tags... alas, falls short -> gag
Quality   14.2 / 20
Hot-cold device. Cool lime & chili heat form the diametric poles of this bar. In the middle cocoa butter moderates the extremes.

A good White often carries intrinsic lemon points, so adding lime usually compliments the packet. Unfortunately, the base butter here, unmasked of any vanilla additive, tastes fairly mediocre. An upgrade in quality would help.

The citrus & the spice however play well together, evenly matched in a competitive clash. Both persist long after the melt. In that regard, Cravve produces a success.

Above all, it presents a novel concept in the bar world: chili & lime together for the first time. More slanted toward the bonbon trade where even there it has yet to appear. Extra credit for youthful innovation.

INGREDIENTS: cocoa butter, sugar, milk powder, lime juice powder, chili flakes
