Just a sweeter child from the same dysfunctional family of its 80 & 84% sibs, all suffering from pica – that unusual appetite for non-nutritious things like dirt, chalk, hair, & differently colored (re: “flavored”) paper.
Appearance   3.9 / 5
Color: black cherry mud
Surface: Jacques’ macho logo
Temper: semi-wax
Snap: sharp, hi-pitched frequency (trouble ahead: see Texture); clean edge
Aroma   4.4 / 10
crushed flower paved in hot tar & burning rubber -> underneath a cherry pit -> tobacco & diesel fumes bring up the rear
Mouthfeel   8.3 / 15
Texture: clumpy wax
Melt: dissolves into paste w/ length… if you wanna ‘stick’ around... for the astringent grip at the finish
Flavor   33.2 / 50
smoked rubber -> deisel soy wax -> vanilla cookie monster -> basic cocoa powder -> chocolate hit -> subtle bitter endive -> paper cut -> more soy cookie -> domineering vanilla w/ a fingerful of peanut butter -> banana/mint after-breath
Quality   9.6 / 20
Aroma hints at a rumor of some noble stock but flavor discloses that that’s probably just the perfume Jacques was wearing while handling these beans.

According to Torres this is “so dark you can get a tan just by eating it”. Then again, you can also emit that inner-glow by swallowing radiation. Both will kill & either way you’re dead.

Indus-triage & dutched.

ING: cocoa mass, sugar, cacáo butter, soya lecithin, vanilla; CBS ~ 2:3:2
